I know COPOS didnt come out with houndstooth, I havnt ever seen one I will put it that way. I am in the process of building a Garnet Red COPO clone, and getting ready to order interior. Cant decide on Black comfortweave, blk houndstooth, or blk std. Whats everyones thoughts and will one or the other change the value of the car when finished. Its a TASTEFUL RESTO with an ALL 69 DATED TRUE 427 COPO motor. NEW M21 4 speed, and FRESH 12 botl with 4:10 as the Copos came out. Thanks

COPOs could have been built with any interior/exterior available from Chevy, but most were pretty sparsely optioned. There is one un-restored beauty ownd by a guy from Nevada, that is an RS with houndstooth interior.

I say, if you like houndstooth, go for it. However, if it were me, and I were putting in houndstooth seats, I'd go for the entire custom interior, which includes woodgrain pass side dash, and molded plastic door panels.

I think a nice interior would enhance the value.
