I have a Quick fuel 680- VS carb installed on my crate 350. I have the timing correct but it wants to load up on fuel and die on occasion. Other times it will idle out perfectly any suggestions ? I am running between 7-8 lbs of fuel pressure. I am wondering if maybe i have a vacuum leak.

You may want to reduce you're fuel pressure to 5 and 6 psi and go from there. Keep us posted.
