I have tried to decode myself, not even sure if I took pic's of the right numbers. I am posting pics of the intake, crank, carb, and distributor. I know it is a pain but any help would be great!

Finally found that the distributor is correct (1111168), but not sure what the other 4 digits mean......is it 6-year, K-11th month, 31-day?

Nov 31 1966? If so my car is a Nov 66 build date.

Does not appear that yours is original.

Look for the small disc on the drivers side of your carb. It should have the information that you need.
This is from the CRG website and is also what I have on my car... these carbs are available and I have seen them for sale.

Here is the pic. New research shows it is a 69 Vette or Camaro 396/427 manual transmission. I have a couple more carbs to check, so maybe I pulled the wrong one out of the box. I did not get the Vette/Camaro 396/427 numbers from the CRG site, but from the Chevelle site.

I think the ED stands for manual transmission.......

Your 1111168 distributor is Oct. 11, 1966. They skiped the letter I on distributors.
I am looking for a 1111168 6J-- . I am building a 67 RS 350 SS convertible Camaro. I have had a hard time finding the distributor.
