I got on the Summit web site and wanted to order a set of headers that are ceramic coated. I looked up Hedman, and all they offer is a 2 in set with 3 1/2" collector, which is exactly what my Hookers are now. Dynomax doesn't make a header that will fit my application. Flow Tech makes one that is 1 7/8" but I am not much impressed with Flow Tech. Doug Thorley makes them in small block only. Hooker's smallest header is 2 in. I would get my Hookers jet hot coated, but 2 in is too big from what everyone is telling me. I thought they were too, but that was the smallest Hooker makes. You can get a set of Hooker super competition headers part# 2111HKR. They have 1-7/8"X 33" primarys with 3-1/2" collectors. They won't fit A/C and you must use the big block frame stands and motor mounts. You can buy them already ceramic coated part# 2111-1HKR.

i got these from jet hot direct. they look good if they could ever send me a non-scratched, non-dented pair http://www.camaros.net/forum/frown.gif

if you order through jet-hot, be prepared to wait 2 months +

i ordered them in may and now my engine is waiting on another set of headers....

third times a charm, right?

1 2run: Do you think 1 7/8" would be worth buying especially if they are over $370 not ceramic coated, and I have no idea how much they would be coated. Do you think the 1/8" would be worth the difference?

JKS: How much did your headers cost? What brand are they? What size are they?

I run 1-3/4" primary tubes with a 3" collector and they are made by Hedman.

Get them jet hot coated, they will not dull or rust for 5 years.
