I have a TH350 and i have a squealing noise when the car warms up. does this sound like a torque converter or pump issue?

a torque converter or pump wont squeal just warmed up. it will squeal all the time. unless filter is clogging with debris.

it shifts thru all the gears okay, just makes a noise.

When I had that the fluid was low. You probaball did check but sometimes it's the little things. Brian.

I had one do that a few yrs back as soon as it warmed up and in gear...replaced it fixed
We split it open and there where a few little bits broken off and jamed inside.
TC are very reliable but apparantly when the do start to go it is not uncommon for this to happen...
Common enough for the local auto trans specialist to say what it was just by describing where the noise came from, what sound, and when.

If you've got a convertor coming apart and the transmission is still good, be sure to flush the cooler lines forward and back before you put a new convertor on it.
