I have a price on fast burn GM heads part number 12464298 for $570.50 Ea. Is this a good price for them? I am sure that is the price with valves etc. as the part number I gave them above states on the GM performance web site that they are assembled.

Can I used an early style(non Vortec) performer RPM intake manifold with them. Can I reuse my headers with them?

Thanks
Joe

I know the fastburns have intake mount holes for both Vortec intakes and traditional intakes, about the headers Im not sure.

Joe, yeah, the price is average.

The intake is drilled and tapped for both early and Vortec manifolds, but using the older manifold does not let the heads work to their full potential as there is a huge mismatch at the top of the intake ports. Sealing has been a problem too.

Headers I'm using are Hooker 1 3/4 Supercomps, with Earl's Pressure master gaskets that are made for the LT1 and are identical port size.
