I am rebuilding my 69 z28 front disc brakes the car is a O6A car the delco moraine part# onthe left brake is 5483633 date 118 and the right is part #5483633 date 312 is it realistic to think the 312 date that is much later than the 118 which fits more the O6A date on the trim tag is a original brake or possiabley a replacement thank you for your help

Shouldn't the right caliper be 5483632 or 34?
After 40 years, I'd say they both could easily be replacements.
If it's a June 68 build, wouldn't the 312 be Dec 68, meaning 6 months earlier, which I doubt would be the original/correct.
69 calipers were unique and by Dec 69, I'd assume the slightly different 70 calipers were well into production, so it couldn't be a later Dec 69 date code, right?

Got two 5483633 casting , R & L, with a 309 stamp on my early 12A car.
