I am restoring my 68 Z and I had to replace the metal upper dash panel because the old one was rusted out at the base of the windshield. I need to remove my VIN tag from the old dash and put it on the new dash. Where can I find the correct rosette rivets and what is the going rate for them?

I have looked on ebay and all I can find are the trim tag rivets. Someone told me that ebay does not allow these to be sold. not sure if that is true or not.

I didnt replace my rivets. I documented my dash panel change out. And used regular aluminum rivets. You cant see them under the dash pad.

Those things can be found. But they are stupid crazy expensive. Do a google search for them.

I have one suggestion. Document and then document some more and get witnesses and have it certified by someone. You don't want anything to throw a question of if its a real 68 Z28
