I have a '68 RS Camaro and need some shrould help. I ordered a Be Cool Rad from Summit that was supposed to be a direct fit. I then ordered a shroud from National Parts Depot that is the correct for my engine - 350. For some reaon they do not match up. I have already cut the shroud up and down and made some snips on the rad, but still doesn't fit. I am pretty frustrated. Has anyone been through this before? I am kind of stuck now with the radiator since I modified it. I have seen the aftermarket shroud from NPD that looks pretty cheesey. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you lookin for original styling or can the shroud be aluminum? I got a kit from speedway motors that you fab to fit but in the end it looks really nice. Did you check out the be cool website?

I will take original style or aluminum, as long as it tooks decent and does its function. Could you take a picture of this setup?

I would also like to know what the best source is for a factory styled '67 big block shroud. Years ago they weren't even close. I imagine it could be the "cheesy" ones Briancp396 mentioned. I've seen some that look fairly accurate. Are these GM Restoration pieces? Do they have all the numbers molded in?

brian,
do you have a short or a long water pump? 350 engines in 68 had short; 69 and later had long. so for my '68 with a later year 327, i had to go with the 69 small block shroud for fitment because of the long water pump.

this is the listing for the '69 small block original gm shroud. you may want to check the seller's store to see if they have the one for you application.
