Hey guys,

I have been wondering how much I can get for a pair of original 69 Camaro fenders and the extentions that need some TLC. I have included quite a few pictures to get some opinions on this matter. One of the fenders would need to have the lower section that goes by the door replaced. The rust has really eaten it up. Also, there are two pictures that have, as I call it Monkey Sh*t, but really I think it is fiberglass and bondo mixed together. You will see what I mean. These two pics are from the passeneger fender. Other than what you see and what I told you the fenders are still pretty solid for the most part. I am hoping since they are original I can get some $$$$$$$ to buy more metal for my car.

I can also tell you that the ends of the fenders were the lights go have some tabs. Also, where an emblem is suppose to be on the side of the fender, someone hase filled it with filler. There are holes there for the emblem.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Those are actually in really good shape. I would repair and use those before buying repros! A little media blasting and metal work and new fenders!

With that said, I think my guess on the value right now is about $250 ea.

If youare looking to get $$$$$$$$$ to buy new metal for your car.......if they are worth $$$$$$, use them on your car......like Kevin mentioned...they look good and very restorable....nothing beats original Tin. I can spot a repop fender a Mile away.

I agree that going with the originals is better than repos any day of the week. I figured since most of my car will be repo I was not too worried about keeping it original. Plus, my car is not even an X coded car. It is just a plain james coupe. Now, you guys have me thinking though about selling these fenders.

Roger ,believe me, the fender fit is the most noticable thing about 1st gens. If that isnt right, it throws the whole look out. Even if you use repro for everything else, use GM fenders and extensions whenever possible! Luck!

X2!...that gracious curve at the top where it meets the grill just aint there on the repops. Thats one of the giveaways on a repop. I understand what youre saying....I would have come to the same conclusion....youre changing everything else and its all repop.......keep the Fenders!!
