I just got my car back from paint and now need to pull the subframe and rear for powdercoating.

The front end sheet metal is aligned well right now, and I'd like to leave the front fenders, core support and hood in place while I send the subframe and front inner wheel wells out for powder coating.

I wondered if anyone had any thoughts about my risk of damage to the front sheet metal left that way for a couple of weeks. My sense is I should be fine, but thought I'd check with others here to get their opinions.

There are always risks. I would have waited till the painter broke it down and pulled it while he painted before reassembly.

I think it is not to difficult to do now. You would need to raise the body and support it along with the core support. Strip down the fame the remove it with some help.
