to make a stroker, you will need a 400 crank ground down to fit the 350 main bearings. it may be cheaper to put down the cash and just purchase a new crank from Summit or Jegs. If you check out Chevy High Performance magazine, Powerhouse has good deals on the engine kits. then you will just need the block machined.

i forgot to post that you may have a difficult time adjusting the air/fuel mixture at that altitude. you may want to consider a TPI setup. most will still work on mild 383 motors. depending on budget, this may be a good way to go. and it should still work with your T350 trans regardless of using a Carb vs. EFI

Also this mod may require mach work on the connecting rods to keep some of them from contacting the cam...

more on what DjD said, 1,2,5,6 rods come close to the camshaft and need to be ground slightly. PAW has a crank, rods, bearings, rings, and forged pistons for $650. Don't forget the 400 damper and flywheel. Then all you will need to do is grind the oil pan gasket area of the block for clearance. Have fun, it will be worth it!!!
