I read my local paper this morning and came across this story of two special little ladies. Taylor Love is a 4 year old girl who suffers from a very rare form of cancer. For nearly three years, Taylor has battled neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that develops in certain parts of the nervous system and usually strikes young children. She has been through surgery, radiation, two clinical trials, a stem cell harvest and seven rounds of chemotherapy.

Abby Miller is a 12 year old who also lives in Virginia. She loves music. She has an incredible voice and has become a little hometown favorite. Abby was asked to do a song for Taylor and it's made it's way to YouTube. The two girls have become quite close. Taylor is fighting her illness with courage not normally found in 4 year olds. While she is doing better she still needs support so enter Abby.

Here's the clip from YouTube. It's already been viewed nearly 11,000 times since it came out 1 month ago. I know it's not about cars or the things we usually discuss here but I wanted to help out and this board seems like the perfect place to carry on with the message. The message is about life and how precious it can be.

Please check it out and help if you can~

When I see stuff like this my car dosen't seem significant at all. This is the reason people sell cars. And that is how it should be. A life is more precious than anything we will find on this forum. Thanks for sharing and I hope that we can make a difference. I think that this is what we are all here for, regardless of the cause we care about about people first. Camaros is what we have in common, but our bond as humans is what keeps us strong and makes us special. I am sure that together we will do our part to help Taylor who deserves to grow old enough to know what a Camoro is. That is my wish.

I thank God every day that my kids are safe and healthy. I can spare a little for some parents who aren't so blessed as me. I wish Taylor and her family the best and hope things work out for them. Sweet girls.

I stumbled across your posting and registered just so I could reply. Thank you for your wonderful comments about Taylor and Abby. I am friends with both families so I sent this link to Taylor Love's mom, Aimee, and this is what she had to say:

"WOW! I'm at a loss for words. Incredible the impact that these ladies have made!"

Thank you for helping Abby get her message out and thank you for your support of Taylor.

69z28freak, I know that her parents would love for her to live long enough to know what a Camero is. This way they will be able to warn her about boys who drive Cameros. Everyone knows they are up to no good!

Thanks,

Mike Gillette

Mike - Welcome to Team Camaro... Please pass on to Aimee, Taylor and Abby, have faith, stay positive and never give up. I know there will be times when spirits will need picking up. Here's a remarkable story I think will help them through some of the rough spots...

Here's a direct link to another little troopers story, we followed here in this forum for about a year, the outcome has been heart warming! http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kyliepederson/journal

Unfortunately, I can relate to this topic. My cousins son David has been battling neuroblastoma for about a year now. It is a horrible thing to watch someone that young go through. Not to mention the toll it has taken on his Mother, Father and younger sister. I can't begin to imagine what they are going through. It is inspiring to see how David has handled this rare form of cancer and the equally horrifying treatments. He has kept his chin up and has had a positive attitude from the begining. He is mature beyond his years.

Crap, the last thing I wanted to do was cry this morning. I cannot beleive the strength this family and others must have who go through things as evil as cancer. My prayers go out to them all, especially Taylor and David.

Wow, that Abby is something special. I know her parents are proud!

Now to go and give a few bucks. Man, are the issues I thought I was facing today now so insugnificant.......

Does anyone live near, or know anyone in the family? A Paypal account would be good. I already donated to her online account, but would gladly donate to get her a membership, shirts, stickers or whatever.

One thought is the thread that has a lot of our pictures being put into some kind of card, or anything to help lift this little girls spirits.

Maybe we could all mail her a card separately, a lot of mail would also make her feel good.

Any thoughts?????
