Plan to rebuild fron t end - any suggestions on rebuild kits? 67CruiseMasterCamaro Feb 15th, 05, 09:27 AM Kanter Auto products, Classic Industries, Ricks First Gen, Paddock, wow, shall I go on? What one is best? Hmm, hard to tell, but look at the kits close and make sure you get the correct parts you need for you particular car. Some kits have intermingled parts. P/S vs non-P/S. For me, personally, I would rather shop for the parts individually to make sure I am gettin exactly what my car needs. This is not to say that vendors have incomplete kits, most probably do, but for me, its best to get what I want rather than in a kit. Just my .02. libb58 Feb 15th, 05, 09:34 AM I saw a front end rebuild kit on ebay for $179.95 it consist of all 18 pcs for 70-81 camaros,z-28,firebirds and t/a's: 2-upper,2-lower ball joints 2-outer tie rod ends 4-upper,4-lower control arm bushings 2-front sway bar bushings 2-front sway bar linkage kits "Adeals Best parts best prices" is the company try (adealsap.com) hope this helps. GunnerV Feb 15th, 05, 10:54 AM I went through RockAuto (on the web) because they have good prices on MOOG parts. Carquest branded parts are reboxed TRW. I went with polygraphite bushings IOT try and beat the squeaks. A little more com;licated than just buying one kit, but you get all top quality US made parts for about the same price as you would pay for a kit. Do a search in the Brakes and suspension catagory for lots of good info.
