98blackburb Aug 25th, 09, 03:18 PM That's too bad Jeff...............
Keith, what a sweetheart ride,Enduro bumper too:thumbsup:
z10kl Aug 25th, 09, 06:44 PM Yea, the first endura I had ever seen. Also had comfortweave, tach and gauges, AM/FM, 4sp, and a wood steering wheel that I took off and gave to a friend to put on his boat. I put a little Cal Custom wheel on it and it was a pain to steer at low speed without power steering. I wish I had put that steering wheel up somewhere.
Mike-T Aug 25th, 09, 08:06 PM I still have my old hotrod:)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v181/my31and37/DSC02431.jpg

I've had it forever and still have it in fact, even drove it on my wedding day and fortunately my buddies were kind to it....

Had a lot of memories in all of them. I spent every day after school of my Sophomore year working on the Camaro at a guys body shop, helping him out and helping paint my car. It started out a 6cyl, blew up a 305 racing and eventually I built a pretty sweet little 283. I sold it because I burned out on cars, working as a mechanic. The kid I sold it to wrecked it a month later, totalled. My cousin still has not forgiven me...:noway:
I've had the Mustang for 18 years, man if that car could talk... (I'd be in big trouble..:D) Daily driver for 10 years and raced so many weekends I can't even remember, what a great car it has been. Now it shares the garage with my Camaro and they seem to get along, I doubt I will sell either anytime soon if ever.

Lexlas Aug 27th, 09, 09:33 AM My first car was a old Skylark, I drove it the first day about 9 hours straight. By the time i parked it the hoses were so hot the water was pouring out of holes everywhere. I got it fixed of course but the point is this was my first car. I crashed it and i regret not taking out of the city pound. I've only seen one ever since then.

xplantdad Aug 27th, 09, 08:29 PM Alan...here you go.
My first car...1972 Chevy Nova.
Was an inline 6 and I bought it from the original owner.... became a 1971 402BBC with Edelbrock Torker 2-0, 3310-2 Holley, Crane Fireball hydraulic cam, Turbo 350 trans with an Art Carr shift kit, 3:73 12 bolt posi out of a (gasp) totalled 1969 Z/28.
Painted with lots of Pewter silver metallic (factory color...and the orginal color of the car). The car went through the Moroso stage (gold anodized valve covers and air cleaner) and ultimately settled on what is seen below. (It occasionally had some LS7 stickers on the front fenders above the side marker lights...LOL)
Oh, and cheap blackjack headers...I cruised in the Anaheim/Fullerton area for a few years in this car and it was my daily driver to college as well.
Do you all remember when Toronado mirrors were all the rage...they are on there!
Shown here at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals West in 1981 in Pomona (License plate was CULAYTR)

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b156/lotsayenkopics/untitledb.jpg
And here are some time slips from OCIR...obviously, I had no clue how to drag race. The first time I took it down the strip....i just pulled it up to the line and left in drive.
When I got back to the pits...all my buddies were laughing at me!:D (See time slip 14.56 @ 99.88...actuallly I think my first one was 15.01? :p
