I picked up my frame from powder coating today and I couldn't be any happier. Check out the difference in the photos below! I called 3 different places before taking it in. The first quoted $250, the second $200 and the third only $75. When they said $75, I had to ask if that included sandblasting, and they said yes! When I dropped it off, the said it would only take a week. Two and a half weeks later, I'm very pleased with it. The extra time didn't even bother me because I've been on the road a lot lately. It looks good, now I just have to figure out what to do next.

I assume he will. It is J & J powdercoating on Archer street in Tulsa. 918.836.9700 They keep banker's hours at 9-3, and they over-estimated how quickly it would be done, but for the price and the quality, he's earned my business for the forseeable future. Plus, they asked what color I wanted a couple of days before I picked it up, so apparently, they weren't going to give me an upcharge for different colors.

WOW, around the northern Illinois (Chicago area) you can hardly get a frame sandblasted for $75. Great deal!! Looks nice, too....Jb

If gas wasn't so expensive, that'd almost be worth driving up from Dallas to have it done. All the quotes I've gotten to do mine have been in the $500 range.

Did you have the control arms, bumper brackets, transmission crossmember or any of the other bolt on items powder coated with the subframe or just the main subframe in the picture?

I just did the subframe in the photo. I have GW upper and lower control arms and will probably have a transmission crossmember done at a later time when I decide on which transmission I'll use. I'm haven't had a front bumper on her in 20+ years and most of the other bolt on stuff will either be replaced with new, or cleaned up and re-painted by hand.
