I need a fan blade for my 69 camaro and all I have is a 19 inch and it won"t clear the shroud. Can I trim an inch off each blade? I think then it would be a 17 inch. I have found a couple of fans for sale but they want 70 or 80 bucks for one. Year one has one for 140, outa my price range. Thanks, Wayne

You should be able to find a flex fan that would fit for not too much. Try Craig's List or Nickel Ads locally. I have a flex fan that I don't need but shipping and stuff would add up. I'm sure you should be able to find something locally cheap.

how about going to a junk yard and finding a 17" or 18" fan from a truck or a older car? might find one reasonably priced.

If you go to a junk yard, dont be afraid of a 4 blade high pitch fan. I ran one forever and never had an issue with it.
