for all you guys with a 68 camaro with standard tub.. do you guy think i will be able to go with torque thrust rims that are 18x8 in front 5.5 back spacing with 255/40/18 tires and rear 18x9 6" b.s with 275/40/18 tires? will i need to get spacer ?

Well went and got rims and tires.. the answer is hell yes...i will get some pix up soon..

yes i know what you guys are going to stay.. im 4x4 ing... i going to lower front end 2.5", the rear 2" the car will sit right above tires. the flush with the wheel wells. i will try to get better pix shortly...:beers:

I went with 18x8 front 18x9 rear. It was a located authorizied dealer locally.. I had a great experience. I dont know that he ships..

Those wheels and tires look very cool on your car. Can you tell me if those 8 inch tires on the front rub? My experience has been even a 15x7 on the front can give a few problems if you are not careful. Plese let me know.

I have 18x8 front 18x9 back
so i had to change out front tires to a 245/40/18. i lowered the car about three inches lower than stock. the rear one inch lower i have a 275/40/18. give me a day i will post pix of car now...

I don't know man. It might be the angle of those pics but are you sure those are 5.5" backspacing or rather 5.5 offset? My 17x8 fronts have 4.75" backspacing and they're under the lip.

my 15x7 rub on sharp turns i agree with yah may have some rubbing issues

i will get some pix up tomorrow.. your wheel sticks in far mine is about even..

My back space is 4.75 and they don't stick out but in.

I have 17x7 on the front 4.50 back spacing and 17x9.5 on the back and the back spacing is 4.75 They don't stick out at all and I think I want to change the rear to 4.50 backspacing. I have 1/2 spacers but have to replace the studs to do it. Any problem doing that?
