We are doing a 69 RS conversion. My question is how do you mount the headlight washer pump relay. I could only find one picture that showed no detail. It looked like the relay somehow mounted on top of wiper motor but my wiper motor has nothing there to mount it too. Any help is appriciated. Thanks

There are 2 holes drilled in the motor base and 2 hex head screws go into the plastic washer base from the back.

Dan, the original wiper motor for an RS in 1969 is different than the wiper motor for a NON RS car. The only difference is predrilled holes in the base plate for that solenoid to screw into. As Kevin said, just 2 screws. If you stick to your non RS motor, you will have to adapt a bracket or something creative. Or shop for an RS motor/plate. ;)

Mark, great diagrams. Although I have the repop RS relay and the mounting holes seem to be different than the one you show on Photobucket. Your pic looks like the are staggered, on the repop they are straight. Do you know if they are the same or different?

Also is the metal part suppose to be gold or did you paint it?

Its supposed top be gold colored with the stampings on it . original holes are staggered like shown .check with Belair Bobs I think he has the correct one .are there 3 holes in the back of yours ?
