There she goes on the trailer behind Frank's truck on the way to Prodigy Customs in Orlando. Frank and Lisa are SUPER nice people. They drove all the way to the keys to pick up my 67. (6.5 hr drive) We had a nice seafood lunch on the gulf and I sent them home with about 30 lbs of lobster that was caught on my brother's boat about 3 hrs earlier.

I was worried about what he would say about the car body/rust wise. I posted some pics here and everyone said it looked good, but having him here saying how clean it was made me happy. he said it was the first car that was in the condition that he was told. he said usually they are a lot rougher than the owner says.

I have been sooo excited about having it go up there... I will be a mess when it is coming home. :D I did't even get to drive it today because it was raining all day on and off.

Lisa promised me lots of progress pics so i will share them here. I think i have some space as a member, I will have to figure how to use it.

That's awesome Mark!

Not sure if it's been discussed already and I missed it but what exactly are you having Frank do, total body off?

he is going to do some touch up in the engine compartment, some patch panels behind the rear wheels, rub out a few dents, install my RS conversion kit and paint it. he will also find me some wheels and tires.

it will look something like this

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w48/msenmartin/camaro/Prodigy%20work/sterlingblackstripe.jpg

only with Z stripes and different wheels. no rear spoiler but with a front bumper. the tailpan and wheels will be the same color as the stripes.

i really like those colors, the grey with darker grey stripes.

of course it will look better because it's a 67 ;)

he called about an hour ago to let me know they got home about midnight safe and sound. (and to get some tips on cooking the lobster)

I'm sure it will be done by Christmas or Thanksgiving. NOTHING could possibly go wrong.

I won't forget that day my car left and it was a good feeling when I got that behind me. Today, I would guess that the project is halfway done? I was readily prepared on how much I would spend and it's true what TC members say of at least doubling your budget. Yet when the subtotals arrive, reality kicks in and it feels kinda crazy. Anyway, Congrats... The finished result will look awesome.

Congrats Mark! "The waiting is the hardest part" Ive only dealt with Frank and Lisa on the phone getting brakes and Hotchkis parts, but the were really nice. Thats awesome you have the opportunity to work with such a good set up. I hope things come together great for you!

That is going to be one fine ride. I love your idea about the Z stripes and the front bumper!
