Installing a painless harness in my 67. Finaly got the harness in and everything works except when I turn on my turn signals all the bulbs light but they dont blink. I do have the new relay installed in the new fuse panel. The other wierd thing is when I turn on the left turn signal the left bulbs light up but the right signal in the cluster comes on!? Maybe this is something I'll have to switch in the harness going to the cluster and they just assembled it wrong at painless? Just curious if any one has installed one of these and run into the same issues. I'd call painless but I think my wife has more harness knowledge than their tech support guys (I called them about something once already and had to figure it out myself)!! Thanx for any help..

Sorry your having problems. I installed one in my 68 and I too had problems with the turn signals. I had to replace the relays because the ones they sent didn't work. They still didn't work and came down to the half moon connector wasn't quite matching with the original. The original is actually quite beat up. I just played with the connections and it worked fine. The tech peeps I've spoke with knew alot but made me sound like a complete idiot. And I do know a lil about electrical. I'm sure some folk will chime in with some help. I'll be watching this one for future problems with mine!!

I fixed it:hurray:! It was the harness going to the instrument cluster. There's a light blue and a dark blue wire that painless had switched in the harness. Just switched em and wammo, they work the way they're supposed to. Also, thanx for the heads up on the turn signal relay. I actualy switched this w/ the horn relay and now they blink (odd cuz they are both the same parts but now the horn and turn signal work so whatever!). Thanx for the reply, it helped alot....
