What is the best and easiest way to remove the convertible top hydraulic cylinder on a 67'? Do I have to remove the top? I hope not....

nope, don't hafta remove the top. With the top up, onbolt the tops of the cylinders from the top frame. Then retract the cylinders, have people back there guiding them so they don't hang up on anything.

With the top up and the cylinders "short" there is room to get them out.

Don't ask how to avoid making a mess when you take the hoses off.
