Does it matter which lines go to the holes on the hydraulic pump? The lines were unattached from the pump on my car and I am getting ready to prime the lines and test the pump but not sure about attaching lines.....
thanks

yes, you need to make sure the same hoses hooked to bottom and top each side...otherwise they will work opposite of each other
there should be a diagram ,do search on threads...seems i had seen one not long ago...

x2 on the diagram. Also make sure not to kink the lines, if you do, just replace them.

Thanks for the replies. The lines are new as is the pump, switch, harness etc. I already installed the longer line to the bottom of the cylinders and the shorter of the two lines to the top. I searched the forum for a few weeks now to try to get them right and the search function seems messed up. (if you search power top hydraulic lines, you get every post that has any of those words in the message).
Anyhow I was able to find one picture, although it was not very clear, but it appears that the longer line (the one that goes to the bottom of the cylinders) attaches to the side of the pump that is exposed when it is in place. The shorter line (top of cylinders) looks like if goes to the back side of the pump. I did NOT cross the hydraulic lines when I installed them. I could see how that would mess things up pretty good. I think I should be ok, it will be a few days until I have the time to test.
I am thinking that it probably doesn't matter what line goes to which input on the motor.......
Also, Some guys on the site are using ATF (red) fluid and not sure what is in the pump (new, but old). The fluid in the cylinders was the straw fluid. do they sell the straw fluid at Autozone? NAPA? I should keep the fluid all the same.
anyhow thanks again for the replies.
