I did a search but failed to come up with a answer to my problem so I will ask if anyone else has had this problem. I have a TH350 that I can't get the kickdown to work. The cable is new and hooked up properly at the tranny. I adjusted the cable at the carb like I read in other posts; 1/16" of play at WOT. The tranny has a new adjustable Summit brand modulator that I have not adjusted. I bought the tranny used and it is suppose to have a the mild B&M shift kit in it. Everything works well but I just can't get to downshift when I stomp on the pedal. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you feel resistance in the cable the last half inch of travel while pulling the cable to WOT, unlock the case and pull out the last 1/16 inch.

Resistance should be felt. If not, the cable end came out of the saddle/clip inside. It can be reattached without dropping the pan, but requires patience.

Another item to check is the stage the shift kit installed. Most can be installed to be purely manual shifting.
