I was wondering if anyone had the wiring drawings for the headlight doors. Wiring is all routed. Door open limit switches and door closed limit switches are color coded different. Would anyone have color coding for these locations? Colors are different from left and right door open and closed positions. Is there a website with a detailed breakdown?

The FAQ section of my website also has a breakdown of how the relays and limit switches are wired, as well as trouble shooting help:

Those are the two plugs to connect the electric motors.

Hey Mark or anyone,

Sorry to bug you again, I hate wiring by the way!! I took the headlight door assy out of car, I see the motor but I do not see where the you plug connector in. Am I missing something? Do you possibly have a picture?

I think i see just the motor housing!

Then you have problems. Are the wires without a connector at least coming out of the motor? And if so you might want to test it first.

No wires at all just housing!

Some butcher either ripped them out or the casings were cracked at the housing and were shot anyway. New motor required. It's been a while and I'm not sure if you can even disassemble and replace the wires. Doubtful and if so longevity of the used motor is undetermined.

Thanks Sauron,
Looks like a sealed unit, any idea what the cost on new ones would be?

Hit the catalogues, they all have them.
