Hello

Im driving a mild 540ci BB camaro, 3900 lbs.

Now I have a B&M 10" Holeshot 3000 converter, and I drive 1.70 in the 60ft, 7,44@94,4 mph - 11,64@116 mph on the strip.

I drive 28x10,5-15 ET Drag tires, and 3.90 in the rear. TH400 trans.

I have about 5800 RPM over the finishline, and about 5.3 % converter slip.
And I want to be a little quicker in the start - 60 ft time.

Im thinking of getting a new converter now, but I dont know what to buy.....I need some recommendations....I have looked at Hughes GM40...?

The car is a 70% street car, so I wánt to be able to drive on the street with the new converter.

What can you recommend?

Precision Converters are one of the best on the market. Better than TCI

I do the occassional 'socal day' at the strip..
For that I drop the 2500 TC in and for street put the 1200 TC in.
Once u get a routine gong swapping the Tc is only about 30/40 mins at the most...just one of those jobs preping the day before...oil change, change tyres etc
