Looks short to me Jim. If its a 68 or older it SHOULD be short anyway and the heads wouldn't have any accessory holes on the front of them.

Alternator mounts on the drivers side with the short w/p setup and on the pass side with the long setup.

It's a short one if you can't get your index finger between it and the timing cover!

short water pump from base that bolts to the block to fan mounting surface is 5 5/8 on SBC and 5 3/4 on BBC, long waterpump on SBC 7" and BBC is 7 1/4".
