My camaro is ready to get painted, but not sure what color to go with I would like to go with a really dark grey and black strips ,does anybody know of a dark grey color where you could still see the black strips

Didn't see this on a Camaro, but I saw a different American car painted with Porsche dark gunmetal grey and black stripes. Looked very cool, almost a tone on tone thing. You might want to go to a body shop or automotive paint store and checkout the PPG catalog as they have close to 100 shades of grey last time I looked.

One of my all time favs is dark grey with a ghost stripe in a slightly lighter grey. Saw this on a Ford GT40 replica at Laguna Seca a couple years back.

Check out the new issue of Hot Rod. There is a new one, Dark gray with black 1969 SS stripe.

What about the Viper Grey? Justa thought. I like the Viper Grey, and Silver Stripes.

There was a grey that Aston Martin used on the Vanquish at one time that I thought was very nice. I was never able to find a paint code for it but I think it was refered to as a platinum grey.

I'm putting my 68 convertible back together right now, but just finished a grey with black stripes garage paint job. it's 2002 dodge viper graphite gray and metallic black...Nason BC/CC. there's a pic in my profile...also search for member 6D9...he's posted pics of his graphite grey 69, which is where I got the idea.

i liked the color (viper graphite grey) more than likely thats the color i'm going with i had seen the color before on a paint catolog but it was to small to say that it was the color i was looking for now that i saw it on that 68 conv thats a badass color

buddy of mine says he's doing his '67 Camaro with a '70 or '71 Camaro gray; not sure which. think hes going with black stripes also. I'm sure you can find that color.
