I have actually never run the quick time pros , but have run the drag radials and they hook . IMO the Hoosier are more of a DOT tire for sanctioned racing , and are not recomended for street use . The M/T's are a better all around street tire . The Hoosiers should have a side wall more like a slick . Depending on the condition and age of the tires , id run the Hoosiers .

............. I guess I'm wrong  but I thought that DOT approved meant that they are approved for and capable of street usage????????

DOT approved is approved for street use. You can have tires not DOT rated like my M/T slicks on my 94 TA. I still drive it on the street but it isn't rated for it for safety reasons they build up heat and can pop.

They are DOT rated , but super soft and not recommended for full time street use . I think my Hoosiers had a 040 wear rating .
