Hi need to know the intake valve closing point a.b.d.c. on a compcams XE262, input is required for "JIM 68" D.C.R. calculator, very usefull posting !

OK, go over to Pat Kelley's great site that has his Dynamic Compression Ratio Calculator in it. You can get to it from his sig. from one of his posts/threads, etc...

It will calculate what you want to know by imputting just the advertised duration into his program.

This is b/c the programs, at least that I am aware of, don't have a second level to imput which would be duration at .050" plus the advertised duration which would make the programs that I know of more accurate..

PS., I don't have my copy of D2K loaded or I would play around with it for you, sorry...

D2K allows use of both advertised and .050" spec's BUT only one at a time. You can compare different cams by running two each caculations if you want.. Adv. and at 50.... For each cam...
