Any hints on the best method to replace shock towers in a convertible?

Seems like quite a task with the bracing and such.

Looks like we have no choice but to remove the bracing through the trunk.

Any suggestions from someone who has been there, done that?

I replaced my trunkpan on my 67. I had to take the rear seat supports. I think it was 3 layers there and no fun to get out. I dug out a pic of when I was cutting it away.
