Bird fenders are totally different and will not work as camaro fenders.

I have been under the impression they will bolt up and work, but not correct for the Camaro. I know the bumper brackets are different and side marker light, but not sure of what else.

That is correct. They will bolt up, but there are some slight differences such as the aforementioned side marker light.

I saw a '68 Bird with 67 Camaro fenders last weekend. If I wouldn't have known, I would have never noticed.

Around the headlight they don't have the headlight, and the bezel, brackets, you can
use your old ones, and cut the side marker light hole.

Firebird fenders do not have the notch for the front bumper bracket like Camaro fenders do. I have had a 67 Firebird on the driver side of my 68 SS/RS 396 ever since I wrecked the car back in 1984. I have yet to run across anyone that even noticed unless I pointed it out to them. However, it has bugged me since the day I bolted it on way back then, so the fender will be replaced once I restore the car.

In my first post I should have added without modification. Sorry if it caused confusion.
