Darn, I got lost. I used 3 coats Diamont and 2 coats clear. What do ya'll think? The color doesn't seem quite right to me. Maybe too light.

Freddy, did you start the other thread about this color? I've never painted a car but it looks really sharp. In the first pic, it looks like the rear end has been modified, is that just the angle of the pic?

No, I haven't seen the other thread, I guess. Modified how? Just small patch panels fore and aft rear wheelwells.

Nice color. I had a friend that had a 68 Z/28 Bronze back in the late seventy's that had some track history. I think the car was called Rum Runner. When ever I see this color I think of that Camaro.

What is the name of the other thread and where is it?

Thanks, I've had this car since 1977. It was repainted black w/silver stripes when I got it.

Yeah, it does look a bit on the light side....very well could be the lighting tho. The Bronze, like many other mid - light metallics, takes on a whole new appearance under different lighting. How does it look out in the sun ? I can just imagine  Have a look at this link for a comparison...

Yes it looks light and the wrong hue. Although flourescents and camera color interpretations are not always good representations. I compared it to the orgional paint jambs on my OO 68 and other on-line pics. I don't know about R-M but PPG is not a direct mix for OO but an offset. Unlike my MM which is a direct mix. A call to R-M will confirm a formula. Here's a comparison and this was shot in '93 with Glasurit: http://www.z28camaro.com/oldrel.html

Looks a little light.

Check out this corvette bronze Yenko restored by Bob Harris at Camaro Specialties.

The picture of the doors sitting outside look correct. Think it;s just your garage/shop lighting washing the color out. That is one of my favorite colors. Nice job!

I did not see the doors outside due to the way the post is set up. Then as I stated the flourescents are poorly interpreting the color as they usually do.

Doesn't look too bad, and I got to agree with Sauron, the color of my Camaro changes noticeably when I roll it into the shop and out of the sun.

Thanks for the comments and pictures. It does look better outdoors, but still seems a little light. Kind of a slight pearlish tint. Anyway, when I get the body assembled, the painter is going to sand, stripe and finish it. He said something about burying the stripes.
Although not a P&B man by trade, he's very good at it. The panels are all super straight.

I have an old article from '95 about Jerry finding and restoring Dave's old car. I actually own a '67 302 stock elim. Camaro [not a real Z] that I bought from a guy in Maryland near Jerry. I love his new green Z race car, by the way.
