Does anyone know when the BIG ocean city car show is in Maryland next year? Also is there two different Big shows? thanks in advance:thumbsup:

I am going in October with my 69 and my wifes 2010.This is the only time her car can be in.

The "big" show every year is in May (the week before Memorial Day) and the fall show is in October (usually the 2nd week) -- been going to both for the last 11-12 years and its a lot of fun.

Is this all we have for a thread for the Fall OC event?? Awfully quiet here for a week away. I checked last week and this event was sold out so at least I know I wont be the only one down there..assumming the weather holds out. I was down there this past weekend and it appeared to be Tuner weekend .. that was an interesting crowd..kept OC's finest busy :popcorn:

I just got an enclosed 24' haulmark to keep the junk clean and chip free.....

I'll be there but unfortunately my car is probably not going to make the trip. I've had carb problems for the past month or so and finally got some time to spend trying to fix them. I just rebuilt one of my Demon carbs and while the enigne is running, I haven't done the fine tuning and taken it around the block a few times. I just don't have any confidence that it will run OK.

Anybody want to try to meet and greet? If so, pick a day/time/location and we'll try to get together -- perhaps a few photo ops for the Team Camaro site!

I took the car out for a spin around town yesterday and it seems to be running OK. I'm still not covinced its ready for the trip to Ocean City, so I'll be taking my BMW "chase vehicle" down with the fellas. I'm sure I'll be able to find a beautiful orange 69 pro street Camaro at the Inlet lot on Thursday or Friday morning and I'll snap a few pics for the Team Camaro site.

JUST IN FROM A FRIEND OF MIND THAT'S WORKS FOR OC TOWN. THE RT 90 BRIDGE IS CLOSED FOR ANYBODY HAULING CARS ON TRAILERS INTO OCEAN CITY.......YOU RT 54 OFF RT 113 OR RT 50 TO GET INTO OCEAN CITY...........HOPE THIS HELPS EVERY BODY OUT !!!!

A buddy of mine told me that a maintenance crew found a crack in one of the structural supports of the Rt 90 bridge. There has been discussion that they may have to shut the bridge down entirely in the very near future to make the required repairs.

At least its not the local town government putting in some unwarranted restriction just for car show week. Of course I'm sure there are those of you that remember the paving of Coastal Highway during the car show two years ago :sad:

BTW - according to the forecast the weather looks great for Thursday and Friday :thumbsup:

what day are you going down....

I'll be leaving Wed evening after work, so maybe 9 or 10pm Wed.. I am kind of fretting over the forecast for Saturday morning. calling for rain and I need to leave Saturday morning for a wedding down in Solomons Island. It seems like I just got finished cleaning it up after the spring shows wet ride home.. One option I have is to leave it there in my mother in-laws garage and pick it up in later.

I'm in oc right now a lot of cars driving around!
