My laptop has the touch screen that you use to move the mouse around... my problem is when I slide my finger to move the cursor, it goes the wrong direction. Up is down and down is up.

What could this be caused from? Just over night it happened and I never touched any of the settings.

Go to a previous setting. Pick a day last week that you know the system was fine and restore your settings from there. Start Menu, All programs, accossories, system tools, system restore.

Reboot is the 1st action
Then check the mouse settings in control panel..
Those touch panels a a pain...get a usb mouse ...or even one of those wireless mice..has the pickup in the usb port, and get one that sits almost flat with the case...and separate mouse....dont forget to recharge the batteries every so often...
