New to Team Camaro. Have a rebuilt 1968 Camaro w/ a crate 383 Stroker and a TKO-600 5 speed transmission. It was put together in California by a private builder, and I drove it to Miami w/ a buddy back in November with no issues. Looking forward to being part of the community...

Actually, we did a blog on the trip. It was great - took 11 days. The blog is patscamaro.blogspot.com.

I see you are in the neighborhood. I must first admit that this is my first 'musclecar', and while I possess rudimentary mechanical skills, I am looking for a reference of a proper musclecar builder in the neighborhood. Any suggestions?

Patrick, consider going upto the Towershops (University/I595) up in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday nights. There is usually a really nice turn out (couple hundred cars) and some nice Camaros as well. Starts at 6pm Every Friday... Weather permitting of course
