A quick question for someone who is in the know. I am installing my alternator and the upper mounting brackets (2) arms, has no stud to go onto. There is nothing to tie into heads either. The only thing that makes any sense to me is to install these 2 upper arms into the upper right side of the water pump upper bolt.
Has anyone seen this?

The lower mounting braket looks like it goes into the drivers side #1 position header exhaust mounting holes??

Actually, those alternator arms bolt into the threaded hole in front of the intake manifold but you could use the water pump but you'd need a longer fan belt!
