Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of reading lately and I'm gonna go with the 3rd gen steering box conversion. Well it made me think, my column is also in need of replacement (it is a non-tilt column shift) and i want to convert it to a tilt floor shift. Is it possible to use a 3rd gen steering column in a 69 camaro? I have seen that there are some simple modifications to fit a 70's column into a 69 camaro, I'm wondering if this could also be applied to the 3rd gen columns. Not only that, then i would not have to buy a new coupler to fit the old column to the new box. Has anybody tried this? Let me know :thumbsup:
