I have the MB old school

Two 17x8 chrome, 7 offset (4.75" backspace)
Two 17x9.5 chrome, 7 offset (5.5" backspace)
Two Hankook 235/45-ZR17
Two Hankook 275/40-ZR17

Can I use the 2" drop hotchkiss springs with no rubbing? Link to the springs?

1968 convertible.

Should be fine, many are running that setup. I have in the past. Each car is different. I'm about to have that exact setup in my 67 except I will have 17x9" rear & 5" BS. Still running 275/40/17. I already have the front drop springs in, but it did not drop as much as I had hoped. Maybe due to the LS1 being aluminum block/heads. I hate to cut them, but I have thought about it. I have to see how it sits when I get the rears springs in.

Scott, did you have to change shocks?

I did not change them, as the previous owner had replaced them a short time ago. So far the fronts are fine. We'll see how the rears are after the swap. I ran the edelbrock shocks on my 69 & was pleased with the ride/handling.

Patrick,

Here they are with 1" drop Eibach sbc springs and they don't rub. There's still a little room to go down it looks like.
