I found a tilt column for my 69RS. The seller wants $350 Canadian. Is this a decent price? He says it is in good condition.

If it really IS a '69 floor-shift column and has the slip-on flange, yes.

The problem with tilt columns for '69s is for many years there was a cottage industry of sorts converting non-Camaro columns. Many other GM models/years will fit a '69, the main difference being the configuration of the locking lever at the bottom. I believe a true '69 is straight; most others are offset. Other ignition switches also do not always work the same as a '69.

I mentioned the flange because a standard column has an integral stamped flange; tilt columns have a splined shaft that uses a separate forged flange. If it does not come with the column you will have to locate one.
