Hello,
I own a 69 Firebird with SBC 383, now i want to change headers and i got a tech problem.
The block it self is from 1985 and the body as you know, its F-body 69 Camaro/Firebird.
The question is do the first gen SBC will fit to the engine? or the connection block is different in 85 from 69.
the main point is i need it to fit in the body and to the engine so i got some conflict.

Thank you for your help.

You got a first gen F body, equipped with a small block chevy motor!.....Get headers for a 67-69 Camaro w/sbc and you'll be all set!....It doesn't matter what year small block you got just as long as it's a small block chevy moto!

That's great to hear because on summit it says headers for 67-69 so i thought i might be different spacing to the head ports...

Another question, i got a original Hurst shifter but the have the original handle, what is the original thread so i can buy one in eBay?

Pretty sure it's a coarse thread, at least that's what it is on my aftermarket Hurst Competition Plus shifter!
