I got some rims that are just 15's but i likes them. I want to put fat tires in the back and a little smaller in the front. What are good tires ? BF goodrich or ? What size can i fit at most on my 15's ? You can see my wheels on my pix but they rub all ready when i go fast ? Any advise from anyone would help. Do i have to lift it more for fatter tires on the rear or just better shocks ? Thanks

Thanks i will have one of those table in the near future. Yes these tires will be for my 68. I think i might have to get new rims when the time comes. My friends and family keep telling me how all Camaros have to have these fat tires and i do really like them. The thing is my camaro all ready rubs at times when going to fast. I was wondering if you guys had to lift your cars somehow. I am trying to get this look below in the picture but not as big. All though i am wondering how fat of tires i can put on the rims i all ready have. I will check out these sizes you have given me, thanks.

Lex,
I'm running BFG T/A's all the way around. They are good solid street tire that provides the "look" I wanted. Another option is Cooper Cobras for about the same price. I have 7" TorqThrust D's all the way around with 225/60-15 up front and 245/60-15's in the rear. The fronts are a snug fit but down't rub. The rears I have maybe 1" of space at the fender well so I could have gone wider. I'm running Hotchkiss 2" drop springs in the front and multi-leaf 2" drop springs in the rear.
Hope this helps,

I have crager superlites and have 215/60 up front and just installed 275/60 out back. I had 255/50 out back at first and I wanted something taller and wider. running BFG TAs.
The backspacing is a big thing as you can potentially hit the rear shock mount. I have a good 1.5in -2in of clearance so I'm fine.
I think this is the widest I can go before I'd have to tub.
