Hi, I have to repair the RH rear rail on my 68, it has a hole just where the rail begins under the rear seat section. The rest of the rail is okay. The replacement sections offered from classic and other places is only for the opposite end, under the trunk. I was wondering if anyone out there has that section left over from a repair? I may be interested in buying it. Thanks.

I repaired mine with some sheet metal, I made a template of the frame rail and just
cut it out of 16 gauge, maybe it was 18 gauge steel and welded it in place!

In 69 they didnt use high strength, Boron or structural steels so if done correctly I dont see a problem with fabbing your own.
I would be sure to fab a sleve in addition to your repair though.
