I've got an original console for 68-69 with the gauges etc. Wondered what something like that is worth. Everything works and is in good shape.

Depending on condition, I would say about $500-$750.

Check on eBay under 'completed' auctions. If it's in good shape like you say I'd guess somewhere between $200 - $300. Selling the console wiring harness with it will undoubtedly increase the value. Automatic v.s. 4-speed may make some difference and if it's any color other than black that will affect the price as well.

A while ago maybe, but not lately. I thought the same thing until I looked at the more recent auctions on eBay. Lots of stuff listed with the higher prices, but no bidders. Nice 68/69 console with gauges sold not long ago for $300 plus change.

I've been watchin for the gauges only on ebay for a couple years now....there are no sleepers. Anything original and decent always goes over 200. I've kinda come to the conclusion, since I've heard the repros are good, that it's almost a tossup on which ones to buy. Here's a recent auction...

On the other hand, I did see the console & gauge auction you've mentioned for 300...WOW ! is all I can say....seems like a bargain.

Well, with repro consoles going for $650, the real ones will be more for the people that need them. Prices seem to be down for now.

Values have been down for some time now. They are slowly moving up but who knows where they will go.

yes but most guys on here would rather have repros, because if they buy gm stuff, it will be talked about until they believe its fake or cloned or whatever. If they buy repops they will know know its fake and be happy.

It doesn't really bother me what other people think. I know who most of the people are that have a right to say what is and isn't real. I respect their judgment. The others are just opinions and taken as such. I know what I have and don't need opinions on whether it's real.
