clwilcox33 Sep 25th, 09, 03:42 PM You'd think I'd be a customer...they are located somewhere around here near me. Not that I'm shopping elsewhere, just haven't bought anything new for the Camaro in a couple years.... Not the first time I've heard they're good folks to purchase from though.

Pro-Street69Camaro468 Dec 12th, 09, 05:08 AM Nice to see another vendor.I looked at the sheet metal the full 67 Camaro 1/4 in the picture doesn't look like a Camaro 1/4 to me it looks like a 68 to 72 Nova no biggie but it is kinda weird that this is shown this way.Maybe I am looking with my bad eye.
keithl1967 Feb 23rd, 10, 07:44 PM Firewheel looks like they have some great service (from this thread), and from what I see int heir catalog, they are pretty much the price leader among dealers (at least at regular pricing)...do they ever offer discounts like other parts houses?
knightmoose Jul 27th, 10, 10:55 PM I agree i met the owner years ago when i was living in garland texas he actually ran the busisness literally from his house. I remember driving to his home and buying a set of deleux door panels for my 67 from him i think for 300.00 bucks back in 1999. He meaning floyd lietrally took the pictures of the camaros he owned and of his wife and kids and put them right on the fromt page of the catalog lol so talk about a starter family busisness.. I asked floyd at the time where he took the picture he told me right down the street at the park lol i was taken by his knowledge when i would ask him technical questions but he actually owns camaros himself and loves them and the hobby.
i know those days are gone as far as prices as the hobby really has sky rocketed but his prices are resonable and he does sell both the OEM and repo parts, and if he thinks the repo part is a better buy he will tell you to get it versus spending more money on something you may or may not need depending on the application. How many comapnies can you call and get tech support from the actual owner of the company? Its way better to get tech advice from some1 that actually owns a camaro and loves the hobby themselves versus just any1. They meaning the owner and his wife patty go the extra distance to make things right as they want to keep you as a customer.
With that being said i have returned parts to them in the past as well without hastle.. im glad to see that they have expanded out of the house into a show room lol, its amazing how the yrs go by God speed.
67goldrsss Jan 30th, 11, 01:54 PM I didnt know Firewheel was a sponser. Great place to deal with. They had a set of 69 quarter panels, and it was the only ones they had left. They held them for my dad. I have bought alot of stuff for my camaro here, and I wish yall were closer to me though. Dallas traffic sucks.
icemanrd19 Jan 30th, 11, 03:05 PM 20min from my house and i just bought something from them the other day
stevercup1968 Feb 3rd, 11, 09:08 AM great people, if you live in the area its worth the trip by to see their operation. I have bought several things from them and getting ready to buy disc break conversion and wheels from them.
They will give you the straight truth on things also. Big inventory on hand.
ZaCamaro69 Mar 14th, 11, 10:24 PM Do TCers get a discount? Would love to send some business in-state.
6Camaro8 Apr 22nd, 11, 10:04 PM Ive purchased parts from Firewheel multiple times over the years. Always a pleasure doing business with.

35spline Jul 15th, 11, 09:08 PM I am really lucky to have them located just 3 miles from my house. They have always had everything in stock whenever I walk in. They have done their research on the repo parts and I have never been disappointed with the quality of the parts.
Martin.
