I found a tilt column for my 69RS. It is out of a 69RS according to the seller. We have agreed on $350. The bracket and floor plate is there and he says everything worked fine when he removed it from the car. Heres a pic. Is it worth $350 Canadian?

I can't say on pricing but the column looks more like what's in my '72 Nova than the one in my '69 Camaro. It looks like it could use a good restoration too which says time to rebuild in my book. I have seen tilt columns go for under $200 and up on ebay...

I think that's a little high, especially since you can get a completely rebuilt unit from folks like D&R for $399. They're rebuilt by a local guy in Chicago and I've installed more than one from them and they're great!

Thanks guys! I think I will go with your advice and order a rebuilt one rather than restore the one I found. Even with exchange, shipping and duty it will be much easier and probably cheaper in the end.
