I took the rear axle out of my 69 SS and removed the pinion bumper. The one I removed looks nothing like any type you can order from any of the mail order places

The small picture is the part you can order, the big photo is what I took out of the car.
Anyone seen one like the round one (large picture)? I'd like to buy a new one like it, but I don't know where to start looking.

The repro in the pic is for 67s & 68s. The one you have is a 69 and is not repro-ed by anyone as far as I'm aware.

If you happen to find one, please post the links here as I don't have one at all.

Here is a thread on my solution to this part. :D http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=120604 But your part looks to be in vary good shape. Clean it, glass bead the metal, paint the metal, tire shine the rubber and you are good to go.
