Im looking at putting front disks on my currently all drum 67. I am going to keep it manual but was wondering if this kit will work? What else will I need? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-1974-CHEVY-NOVA-DISC-BRAKE-KIT-w-SLOTTED-ROTORS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14Q QhashZitem563599aa59QQitemZ370266450521QQptZMotors Q5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I'd stay away from drilled and slotted. One or the other isn't bad, but both is removing alot of surface area. That wouldn't matter so much is it were 13in or bigger rotors. Otherwise it looks like most stock style kits. Not a bad price though, keeps you from hunting the parts down forever.

I just did a rear drum to disc conversion on my Z car. Got the kit from Matts . I also replaced my worn down two piece rotors with the single piece, drilled/slotted from Matts also.. I used my stock calipers and spindles. I did not use the China wheel bearings that came with these new rotors, they went to the trash.
One thing you have to be aware of is you will need to go with 15" wheels. I don't think these calipers will clear anything smaller.
So far no issues and I don't see any reason to. There are better rotors and calipers but for what I do, this works well.

I think for now Im just giong to add a chrome booster to my manual drums. Then I'll do the disk conversion later after I get everything else in order.

Does this look ok and can I use it with my manual master cylinder and add a chrome booster to it? I think as long as my master is 1" or 1 1/8" bore Im ok.

I've bought a couple of sets, 13" and 11". Very good quality, fast shipper and good on communication. Then the feedback should tell you that.
Either master will work. If you have good engine vacumm go with the 1 1/8" bore.
