: Going for a ride in the F Bomb tomorrow
okiemark Sep 29th, 09, 12:27 PM 12160
Going for a ride in the F-bomb tomorrow. This is the '73 Camaro owned by David Fieberg of Hot Rod Magazine. Feiberg (spelling?) wanted a driver that ran on pump gas but could still get about 1400 h.p. It's street legal and has a twin turbo motor by Nelson Racing Engines. This car was cloned for use in the movie FAST AND FURIOUS. I think it's a few car chases. should be pretty fun.
SPARKY69 Sep 29th, 09, 12:30 PM buckle up and have fun!!!

I hope to get some good video. Mostly of how this car is made. It's quite something.
okiemark Sep 30th, 09, 08:00 AM Tom, the guy that did my 383 stroker did the motor and my buddy did a lot of the fabrication. It was over at the shop, along with the usual sick stuff they have going on.

Melrose RS Oct 2nd, 09, 11:18 AM Mark, how did it go?
okiemark Oct 4th, 09, 07:52 AM Tom, didn't make it over there. It looks like it's gonna be over there a while- getting some touch up work done.
SPARKY69 Oct 4th, 09, 08:42 AM Dang i wanted to see video!!
okiemark Oct 5th, 09, 05:35 AM Bill, the video posted by Jerome pretty much says it all! It shows how a car can be a beast when you want it to be, or be a tame daily driver. that's what the whole project was all about. What I'd like to know is, what kind of rear-end do these kind of cars have to have? If I knew then what I know now, I probably would have gotten one of Tom's smaller turbo motors. But, I'm pretty happy with the little 383 he built me.
