I might be able to snag a 67 spoiler. Does not have box however. In basically off the shelf shape. Any ideas?

Spoilers were not available in 1967, they became an option in 1968.

They weren't available from the factory but sometime in the model year they were available over the counter at the dealer.

Im supposed to see it tomorrow. Has GM stickers on it that you can obviously tell are the old style script and colors.

GM Parts Direct $134.66 GM PART # 3949798 I avoid NOS purchases from hobby vendors whenever possible. If not GM P.D. I have a parts counter person acquire them. Much cheaper.

I do also but had the Classic catalog within reach. I will order from my dealer and not have any shipping charge.

Question on the spoiler. The original GM spoilers for 68 had notching appearence on the surface that contacts the rear edge of the trunk lid? My understanding is that the reproductions don't , what about the stuff over the counter now at GM? Does anyone know the date when the spoiler became abvailable for dealer installation in 67?
